Any contribution would be greatly appreciated, but I am
offering a gift certificate to anyone who contributes $200.00 or more
to my campaign, while supplies last. I have gift certificates ranging
from $10-$30 from various food and retail businesses around the Shreveport-Bossier
area.
Are you ready to be represented by someone who understands
your realities and daily struggles?
Welcome to my campaign web site. I decided to run for office
for two main reasons. 1. If we keep sending the same type of people
to Congress we will keep getting the same results. 2. I have always
loved my country and my state and since Hurricane Katrina I have an
even deeper appreciation of the things about Louisiana that are so unique.
I want to help preserve these things and make Louisiana even better
for our future generations.
I don’t have political connections, I don’t
have deep pockets, and I don’t have political “experience”.
Some people will have you believe that these things make me a poor choice
as your Congressman, however, to you and I it means that I owe no one
any favors, my loyalties are to my convictions and my only obligation
is to the people of Louisiana.
Please consider helping me win this election by volunteering
or donating. I pledge to use your funds frugally and conservatively.
This is the same mentality I will use to protect your tax dollars from
being overspent. I will always look for ways to save as much as possible.
But even the most conservative of campaigns needs at least a few thousand
dollars to get the word out. I can’t get elected if no one knows
that I am running. It costs about $50.00 to run a single 30 sec. radio
commercial, and we all know how much I could spend on gas to travel
around the 13 parish area that makes up Congressional District 4. You
can follow the donate link to contribute, any amount would be greatly
appreciated. Please join me in our efforts to provide Louisiana with
a Congressman that understands you because I am you and I will be your
voice.
After the results of the party primaries on Oct 4, we now know that
both parties are going to need runoffs and therefore the General Election
will be on December 6, 2008. That is when I will be on the ballot.
